Welcome

Miniature Apocalypse is all about helping modelers get their figures built with a modicum of quality, on budget and on the table. Remember the game store wants your hard earned money, but they should deserve it before you hand it to them.

I now have My copy of 6th edition 40k in my grubby little hands. A big Thank you goes out to the crew at Wisers collectibles For bailing me out with a copy, after my pre-order from another source bailed on me. Now to read this monster...

Ork Fighta Bommer Build (part 1)

So I decided to add the new Ork Bommer to my Ork army. From what I've read the internet is 30/70 split on good/bad. personally I'm not looking for a win button here I just want a good force with lots of character. The dakka jet has character in spades.

Here are some pictures, of my Tyranid Trygon. I chose this flesh and bone scheme to fit the back story for Tyranids. Enjoy, and see you soon on the 4x8 arena.

Canoptek Spyder Build & Paint

Painting The Canoptek Spyder  |

Painting the Canoptek Spyder was fun and quick. I'm adding this Canoptek Spyder to my 2 day Necron army, so the scheme is a simple 2 tone, silver and dark green with orange and green accent colours.

2 Day Necrons

Once I saw the new Necrons in White Dwarf, I knew I had to have some. From the time I decided on my force makeup to the time I hit the table was only 2 days. I decided to go with what I call the 'Quantum leap', most units in this army can either re-position (using veils of darkness) or deep strike. Once I had the concept, it was time to do the build.

New Games Workshop Paints (Wallet Beatdown)

(notice the size difference over the years, and yes i do still use 1990s paints)

The other day, my friend and I went on a little fact finding trip to a 'major gaming store' (to keep them anonymous well just call them GW). The goal of this trip was to try out the new paint line. I was looking forward to the new colours and technical paint medium.
