Welcome

Miniature Apocalypse is all about helping modelers get their figures built with a modicum of quality, on budget and on the table. Remember the game store wants your hard earned money, but they should deserve it before you hand it to them.

Super dungeon explorer - build pt.2

I'm done with construction on the heroes portion of my Super dungeon explore build. The figures for the game are fairly straight forward when it comes to building them.

As i said in part one, they are made form a really hard resin compound. The detail in the heads and weapons of the figures is good, but the detail of the bodies is lacking. Now whether this due to the casting or the 'chibi' deformed style I'm not sure. most figures went together easy but some like the fire mage(I'm guessing that's what she is) have small issues (the hands are not wide enough apart to fit the sleeves of her robe). stay tuned for part three 'the bad guy's.

Have fun and see you soon in the 4x8 arena.

  1. Hello there. It is true that the Ember Mage hands doesn't fit, but if you stretch it a little and apply super glue it will hold in the right place :).
The worst part is cleaning all the extra plastic with the hobby knife. It can be a daunting task.
